Your SDCompo tunes played live

The recording quality is pretty bad: We just recorded by placing 2 mics randomly in a weird sounding room.

I was pretty impressed, especially at the bass player. It was his first time playing these songs ever, having 1 week notice before the rehearsal. Amazing.

Our next rehearsal is 19 Jan, so quite a holiday break. After that I hope to make things more regular.

Happy whatever days!

Ooooh I just received permission from norfair to play his music as well. In case you don't know norfair, he's the top jazz man in the demoscene. Great example of his work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Doxmc1W7WNI

You got in touch with Carl?? Awesome. He was really a pioneer in the scene. For some reason his music changed a lot now but I was always wondering what you thought about his 90s stuff.

Very excited to hear your performance.

Do all Carls on this earth make great Jazz music?

Haha! Nice one. Got Neil deGrasse Tyson too. That melodysheep guy did several of those for PBS a while back:

Mr Rogers:

Also is one for Reading Rainbow, Bob Ross, and Julia Child. They are entertaining but if you listen to too many of them, they all start to sound similar.

Oh dear... Now I just discovered "Epic Rap Battles of history" on youtube.

Lol...

Guess I won't be getting much sleep tonight.... :D

So, it's been a while since I updated here. We recorded a studio demo a few weeks ago, and I've been working on promo materials since then.

Some photos from the recording session: https://plus.google.com/photos/11736138 ... 8287870385

We are now applying to events to get some gigs!
