Wall:E

Wall:E

Have to mention this too.
Absolutely LOVE it!
Quick story. Humans make a mess of the earth.
Humans leave earth in a big ship whilst robots are left on earth to clear the mess. For 5 years........
700 years later the earth is still not inhabitable and their is only one robot left. Johnny 5's little brother Wall:E.
...
Funny, touching, engrossing.
Must see for me.

Pixar is good as always. They know how to make some good quality stuff :) I've heard good things about this as well. Might go take my dad & my son to see it, either that or wait till it comes out on DVD

Finally got a chance to see this now that it is on DVD... The whole family watched it friday night. Quite good. Very beautiful artwork, inspiring. A friend had told me previously how there is very little dialog. I think it lends itself well to this type of movie, like it can transcend cultural/language boundaries because everyone can understand what is going on. I love how they were able to portray so much emotion from the robots, just by the little touches... For example when WallE is nervous, he bangs his fists together... And Eva's eyes are so expressive, even though they're only like 20x10 blue pixel resolution or something.

Very cool :D My son is watching it again for the 3rd time right now :D

I'll have to get around to it soon, then... it's been a while since something like that (little dialogue, lots of space) was made.
