Max payne (movie)

Max payne (movie)

What a pile of shit.

The original PC game (and its sequel) were pivotal for me in terms of game story, playability, graphics and the beautiful use of bullet time.
I was severly drawn into the game and loved every minute of it.

The film, however, has cheesy dialogue with wooden acting.
A story that is from the film but isn't adapted very well at all.
Hardly any decent slo-mo effects.
The one decent one is badly done.
Started off well (ish) though.
But very rapidly tapered off.....to shit..

I've made it a point not to see:

Max Payne

I have too much respect for the games to watch them be defiled in the cinema! :x I think the only successful video-game movies were the Tomb Raider ones. And even they weren't necessarily mind blowing but they at least managed not to completely desecrate the games.

Were there any other games that had movies made about them that were not wholly insulting?
