Sorry I have been inactive on this front too.
My head has been, shall we say, up my arse.
I hope everyone is well...

@Sonicade..
John Lennon is a legend of a songwriter for me.
My dad was big into the Beatles/John Lennon/Paul McCartney/George Harrison.
Brought up on it.

My dad brought me up on the Beatles as well. I used to listen to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on LP. I'm a huge fan. :)

Would love to do another Beatles round but the last one didn't have such a good turnout. Plus the copyrights are kind of an issue.

Still, very inspiring listening to Beatles tunes! And John's solo stuff as well. Great that there are other Beatles fans at SDCompo! :)

The Beatles are a sort of thing that you don't even necessarily need to have listened to them to have some sort of secondhand inspiration from them. The truth is, our PCs are more powerful than any of the gear George Martin and the Beatles had to work with; they had to make all their gigantic, lush orchestrations fit on four tracks and mix it to mono.

I also tend to think this (eg. look what the technology gives us) whenever I hear some 80's stuff that use a linndrum or a fairlight; multi-thousand-dollar gear that our current hundred-dollar-computers can walk all over, when used by capable hands.

sorry for being so quiet... I think I got a good reason this time:)

I've been building my own business, and in a month
I'll open a store here in my hometown.

Kitchen design and sales + other interior /graphic design services.

Excited! Thrilled! (Scared?)
