Disclaimer: None of the following is meant to cause offence. I just wish for a debate. You know I love you all... ;)

Politics, a subject I know little about.
Since President Obamas arrival however there has been much talk about him changing the world.
Over here as I am sure in America.
I am wondering whether the Americans on this site genuinely believe this to be true?
IF change can be brought about (and what exactly this change is and how it will manifest, I am unsure) it will take many years I would imagine.

I think my question would be is the life of the average American actually going to change? If so how? And when?

Being an American, I wish I was more equipped to answer this question. Unfortunately, I have been really out of touch with the news lately. I must confess -- I haven't even watched the inauguration yet. I was planning on it but I just haven't gotten around to it. Now I may not (?)

I have no idea what kind of things Obama has done since he's been in office either.

All I know is he is definitely going to be better than Bush. :D
