For some time I've been collecting epic orchestral music, mainly from games. Maybe you could help me with that a little :D

Some examples (did you need any really?):

Eh, Battlefield theme... getting annoying for those who know it, no?

Jeremy Soule...

Bob & Barn & stuff...

There's soo much of stuff out there and I need to catch up, filter out to fit at least a part of it in my lifetime.

So if you happen to have some pieces you could recommend (maybe your own? yeah!) - throw them at me!

And knowing that my musical experience is quite limited in fact, you're welcome to add some of your own favorites.

Kthx ;)

P.S. Encounter With Mass Destruction by Chotoro is on this very playlist as well :D

Morrowind had some good music (limited though, only 6 tracks of 3 minutes apice...

Alice had some amazing music too, though not exactly what I would call epic. It was dark and a little scary.

An example of true epic would be the redbook audio from Descent2. That stuff was amazing.

Awesome topic!
I love the Battlefield theme both from 1942 and 2142.
Jeremy Soule's Oblivion music as well, amazing!

Here are some of my favorite epic orchestral tracks from games.

World of Warcraft Jason Hayes - Shaping of the World

Starcraft Jason Hayes (I think) - Protoss Briefing Room

Metal Gear Solid 3 Harry Gregson-Williams - Metal Gear Solid 3 Theme

Mass Effect Jack Wall & Sam Hulick - Mass Effect Theme
