HastyCompo: Oldschool tracking compo

HastyCompo: Oldschool tracking compo

I've started up a semi-regular compo for people that still work in IT or XM formats. I know there's a few people around here using Modplug/Schism/MilkyTracker, come and check it out! Round 2 started today and goes until the 28th for tracking.

(Would me posting a link on the one-liners be too spammy?)

Awesome. This compo a great idea. May it last a long time! Too bad I just "converted" from Milky to Sunvox for mobile tracking.. but I still may participate in this at some point.

Posting it in the 1 liners is perfectly fine with me!

Thanks!

I've tried Sunvox a bit, it's really nice looking, but I have a hard time with anything that has a FT2 lineage. Part of the reason I still don't use Renoise...

Yeh, I started out with IT but I adapted later on. I still have a soft spot for IT though.
And hey, Sunvox/Renoise/etc are still more similar to IT than non-tracking software. :)

Sunvox/Milky are admittedly a bit too "clickcentric" for my tastes.. Would love to see Schism ported to Windows CE or pocketPC but it looks like that is unlikely.

Sweet, thanks for the info. I'll definitely check into that. Honestly I'm more interested in Reaper updates than Renoise  :P

What in the ???

Spambots are getting weird lately.

I was like "That sentence isn't relevant, and it sure does sound familiar"
