For any discussion that must take place about this fantastic piece of software

Of course the most useful thing is to me will be routing notes back to vst fx. Which I haven't tested yet but HOPEFULLY will let me and Paul do our midi input into decabuddy... Then, the harmonies we sing will be limited only by the dexterity of our fingers :D

edit: Maybe it will make Melodyne act like less of a bastard, too...

Yes, I think the multi-ins and outs stuff is important, I'm looking forward to it. I'm waiting until after this round is done to really go in, though.

So far, it's just a lot of UI tweaks and effects behavior changes, from my quick glance.

The engine overhaul to midi accurate timing is a big jump toward professional level audio production software. Reasons (like multiple output vsts) to use a sequencer like Cubase are dropping 1 by 1. Sure for things like orchestral music the popular sequencers are still best. But Renoise may be able to start carving a space for itself in genres like d'n'b or other electronic styles. I love Renoise for the passion of the team and community behind it.
