[fixed] Submit Entry not working

[fixed] Submit Entry not working

Postby Justin Credible » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:21 am

Hi,

is it just me or is there a problem with the "Submit Entry" Page?
Tried to submit my tune many times now, but it always gives me a blank screen after i pressed "submit entry".

Mmm sorry did not see that topic ... but just for the records - i still can't submit my entry.
So maybe Sonicade or DJ io will have a quick look at this circumstance?

Thx and Cheers

There have not been any changes made to the Submit Entry page for several rounds now. It's working normally for me (and others) so I'm not sure what to suggest.

What browsers and versions have you tried so far? Have you had success with any of them in the past? Try playing with your security permissions as related to sdcompo.com.

Is your entry upload exceeding 15 minutes? In that case it should give you a message saying it has timed out.

If you need a temporary alternative, you could submit your entry as a URL (be sure the URL works when tracking ends).

I also tried it with IE 7.0 righ now. It also doesn't work. The only difference is that IE says it cannot connect to the website.

Alright, sorry everyone. The issue has been fixed. You should be able to submit your entries with no problems now. There was an error in the way the compo determined new ids for new entries.

Thanks for reporting the problem!
