I wonder which Renoise-FX i am allowed to use.


2. MP3 or OGG rendered link required.
All entrants are required to include a link to a rendered MP3 or OGG of your entry when you submit. Please render
and encode your MP3/OGG raw. Any mastering/EQing and or post processing is not allowed with the exception of Maximizing,
Limiting, Volume Fade Out (eg: looped track), and Normalization.

Seems to me rule No.2 applies only to the rendered .mp3 - before exporting while still inside Renoise i am allowed to use EQs and Compressors (only the Renoise Built-in FXs for sure) as i like - right or wrong?



3. Limited tracker features.
Modules are limited to ONLY the built in effects of your chosen tracker.

So in Renoise i am allowed to use all built-in FX, Send-Channels, Hydra, Maximizer, Compressors, EQs, Filters and all the others - right or wrong?



That's all - just wanted to make sure before i submit my track.

Psycle by default ships with VST-bundle web installer. Is it ok to use these vsts (it'll be included in zip)?

If the plugins come default with the latest Psycle package then yes. If you have to download them with a vst-bundle web installer then no.

We've made exceptions in the past for things like special tracking plugins for Buzz. It's a hassle to implement for someone to use it in only 1 round. If there's more than one Psycler who needs certain plugins to enter regularly we can definitely modify the rules.

I have never really had a problem using only the builtin plugins... In reality, I have way too many VSTs in my vst library to know which ones came with psycle in the vst bundle that the installer downloads, so sticking to the builtin fx is the safest route for me. I am rather guilty of not using effects anywhere near as much as I should though, so my opponion isn't really worth much.


Also, I will most likely be submitting again in the next round
